📡 System Monitoring
Get automatic emails about booth health without watching the camera screen. System Monitoring sends alert emails when a problem starts and optional status digests on a schedule — using the same Integrated Email account you already set up for guest collages. Guests never see these messages, and guest photos and addresses are never included.
Prerequisites: An active ZillaBooth Pro subscription, Simplified Sharing → Integrated Email configured, a valid admin email address, and System Monitoring turned on.
How to configure: Open ZillaBooth Settings → Pro → System Monitoring. Enable the toggle, then tap Configure System Monitoring.
Admin Email: Alerts and status reports are sent only to this address.
Alert Emails: When a monitored condition begins, you receive one email that names the problem, plus event conditions and technical data. Multiple new alerts within about 30 seconds share one email. After a successful send for a condition, that alert type waits about 15 minutes before emailing again (Critical temperature can still fire while Serious is cooling down).
What triggers alert emails:
- Device temperature Serious or Critical (Apple thermal state — not a °C reading)
- Battery below 20% and unplugged
- Free storage below 1 GB when auto-save is in use
- Integrated Email queue nearly full (about 200 pending/failed)
- Printer offline (on-screen immediately; email after about 2 minutes) when Auto-Print is in use
- Internet offline when Integrated Email is configured
- Selected external camera disconnected — booth fell back to the built-in camera (email only; no on-screen badge)
Status Emails: Periodic digests with activity counts, warnings in the period, event conditions, and technical data. Choose Hourly, Daily (default), or Weekly. Status emails are sent while ZillaBooth is open — if the app was not running, the next email is sent when you return (not once per missed interval). The first status email is not sent the moment you enable the feature; use Send Test Email for an immediate check.
Privacy: Guest email addresses and photos are never included in System Monitoring emails.

On-Screen Alerts
Subtle, non-interactive badges on the main camera screen for the same device and event conditions — except camera fallback, which is email-only. Designed so guests barely notice while the operator still gets a cue.
Requires: ZillaBooth Pro and iPad Event Layout. Not available on Core or Pocket. On-screen alert guidance lives inside System Monitoring setup in the app.
